Bead Jewelry and art design.

I’ve been making jewelry for several years- 

 I started by learning patterns, reading everything I could on jewelry making, experimenting, and teaching myself how to bead weave one stitch at a time. 

My first academic introduction to jewelry making was long ago in a course I took my freshman year of college at a Fine Art Museum. It was difficult, I loved the idea, but learning metal smithing felt intense back then—especially without the time or space to really dive in.,

and I knew little about the art.  I let the idea go...

I beadweave for several hours at a time if I have an event or occasion to create jewelry.  I make things sometimes for no reason just because I can I start from a few tiny beads and form something tangible.  

 I enjoy designing with stitches and patterns using my own creative direction.   Every piece I make is crafted with intention, imagination, and a whole lot of heart.

I’m especially drawn to using real stones in my creations instead of beads,

because they feel good to hold on to, solid and eternal.
